Joseph Thomas Holley, CPA, CITP, CFF, CGMA, has been recognized by the International Association of Who’s Who as one of ‘America’s Most Influential Men in Business’.

With over five decades of expertise in business management and accounting within the industrial piping supply sector, Mr. Holley currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Jabo Supply Corporation. His unexpected transition from public accounting into wholesale distribution turned out to be a rewarding decision, paving the way for the company to grow to five thriving locations. Over the past 50 years, Mr. Holley has concentrated on managing the organization, preparing financial statements, and handling local and state taxes. His professional affiliations include memberships with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the National Association of Tax Professionals, and the West Virginia Board of Accountancy, among other esteemed organizations.

Before his current position, Mr. Holley honorably served as an Administrative Technician for the United States Army Reserve and completed postgraduate studies with the United States Department of Labor. He also volunteered with the IRS, where he served on the Taxpayer Advocacy Panel representing West Virginia. In this role, he evaluated IRS updates and led tax education classes under the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. His efforts not only helped taxpayers file returns but also educated volunteers on tax laws and processes.

Throughout his career, Mr. Holley has received numerous recognitions for his contributions. Notably, he was awarded the Medal of Exceptional Public Service by the Secretary of Defense and named Ombudsman of the Year by the Department of Defense for his dedication to the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve committee, which assists reservists and National Guard members. Additionally, in 2008, he was inducted into the Marshall Lewis College of Business Hall of Fame.

Mr. Holley’s academic path includes earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Marshall University in 1968 and studying law at West Virginia University. A highly qualified professional, he holds credentials as a Chartered Global Management Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), and is also certified in financial forensics.

Looking ahead, Mr. Holley aims to achieve an annual revenue target of $50 million for his company, with current figures at $48 million. A long-standing stockholder in the organization, he remains committed to staying ahead in his profession by exceeding continuing education requirements. With determination and strategic focus, he approaches his goals with clarity and confidence.
